Description of Session:
This webinar will highlight the latest Medicare administrative contractors (MAC) reimbursement criteria and rules finalized in October 2022 on molecular syndromic panels for infectious disease pathogen identification testing. Implications of these rules for clinicians and potential approaches of diagnostic stewardship to encourage judicious use of these panel tests will be discussed.
A certificate of participation will be granted to each participant based on 1.0 contact hours of instruction toward credit.
