HIV Testing Technology and the Latest Algorithm

Description of Session:

This presentation will describe the latest laboratory methods for the diagnosis of HIV infection, especially acute infections.  The latest HIV testing algorithm will be presented with the inclusion of the Bio-Rad Geenius™ HIV-1/HIV-2 supplemental assay.  An explanation of the Geenius™  test results and interpretation will also be provided.

 

A certificate of participation will be granted to each participant based on 1.0 contact hours of instruction toward credit.
