Presenter:

  • Dr. Alana Sterkel, Earned her bachelor’s degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Colorado. Then her PhD in Medical Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Wisconsin Madison. She completed a Clinical Microbiology Fellowship from UW Hospital and Clinics and serves as the Assistant Director of the Communicable Disease Division for the Wisconsin State Laboratory of Hygiene.
